A selfie with the last page Radisson Admiral Hotel I was invited to illustrate the brainstorming session of various people under the Ontario Trillium Foundations regarding ways to reduced poverty in Toronto. It was great to see various groups talk about their projects in various parts of the province and discussing what works and what doesn't work. At the end of the day it comes down to connecting with people face to face, sharing ideas and listening to what people need. There are so many things that we don't think about when we're focus on our own lives and think that everyone is in the same boat, but taking the time to listen to everyone's situation, you quickly realize that it's important to dig deeper and not make any assumptions.
I had the opportunity to attend the Success Live event in Long Beach California with two friends. It was a great opportunity to learn more from successful people and visit a portion of California for the first time. I got to also do a little graphic recording while listening to the presentations and got featured on their screen thanks to all the retweets. I would love to attend again given the opportunity.
